Incident Management at Blossom Services Pty
About Incidents

What Is an Incident?

At Blossom Services Pty, we work hard every day to deliver quality support to the people we care for. That said, unexpected situations can sometimes arise — people may act carelessly or treat others poorly. We call these situations "incidents."

This page outlines how we work to prevent incidents from occurring and how we respond when they do. You also have a role to play. Stay alert, be kind and respectful to those around you, and speak up whenever something doesn't feel right.

Our Commitment

Our Commitment to Safety

As an NDIS registered provider, Blossom Services Pty is bound by strict safety standards. We are deeply committed to the wellbeing of everyone involved — you as a participant, our staff, and the broader community we serve. We actively think about what causes accidents and how we can reduce the likelihood of them happening — this is what we call risk management.

Learning About You

We take time to understand you as an individual — your needs, preferences, and personal circumstances — so we can deliver support that is truly tailored and safe.

Nature of Services

We carefully consider the type and complexity of every service we provide, ensuring that our staff are trained and equipped to deliver it safely and effectively.

Service Environments

We assess the physical and social environments in which support is delivered — from your home to community settings — to identify and mitigate potential hazards.

People Around You

We are aware of everyone you interact with regularly and take this into account in our safety planning, ensuring your relationships remain supportive and respectful.

Speak Up

We're Listening

If you ever feel unsafe or uncomfortable, please tell us. We take every concern seriously and will always listen without judgment. Your voice matters to us.

Our team members are fully trained to handle problems and unexpected situations should they arise. You don't have to face anything alone — we are here to support you every step of the way.
